International Women's Day 2018

Madison's chapter of the 2018 International Women's Day, hosted and founded by Emilie Songolo with support from the 4W Women and Wellbeing Initiative, welcomed guest speaker Josephine Kulea from Kenya to present her work providing assistance and schooling for young girls in the Samburu region.

This poster and book display was created for the exhibit honoring UW-Madison Department of African Cutural Studies emeritus Harold Scheub. His many publications are a testament to his dedication to the study of oral literature and folklore in southern Africa.
