This tutorial will help you view your article after receiving it through Interlibrary Loan.
Step 1: When your requested article has been received you will get an email. Look in this email for a link to your ILL homepage. Make sure you are aware of the transaction number, you will need this later! *Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to look at the article. If you do not have this program there should be a link in the email to download the software.

Step 2: After clicking on the URL you will be prompted to log in to your Interlibrary Loan (ILL) account. First, choose UW-Madison as your institution and then sign in with your NetID credentials.
Step 3: This will direct you to your ILL homepage. Here, you will look under the “View My Requests” tab and select the button that says View Electronically Received Articles.

Step 4: This will bring you to a page where you can view all your electronic requests. You can look for your request with the transaction number that was in the email OR the title of the article.

Step 5: Once you have found your request click on the transaction number. This will take you directly into the PDF. Make sure you download the article; it will be deleted after 30 days. When you no longer need the article, you can delete it on the right-hand side of the article listing.
