Step 1: Go to the Ebling Library homepage and scroll down to the Databases list. Select Web of Science, the last one in the list.

Step 2: This will take you to the Web of Science homepage. On the homepage under “Select a database” you will want to choose All Databases.

Step 3: After selecting All Databases, enter your search terms and hit return.

Step 4: You will now get your results. In order to refine these search results by database scroll down until you get to the Database box on the left-hand side of your screen. Then click “See all" below the list of database names.

Step 5: On this screen you first want to select the database you want to exclude, in this case MEDLINE. After selecting this, click the “Exclude” button and your search results should automatically update.

Step 6: Now go back to the Databases box on the left-hand side to refine only to Web of Science results. Then click “See all" below the list of database names.

Step 7: Select Web of Science Core Collection and then click the "Refine" button.

Your search results should automatically update to show only Web of Science results now.
