- UW Facts and FiguresThis webpage provides an overview of basic facts and figures for enrollment, faculty and staff, tuition, and degrees.
Academic Planning and Institutional Research
- Data DigestData Digest is the most comprehensive compilation of data. Detailed figures are provided for enrollment, student body demographics, finance, research, faculty and staff, and instruction. Annual reports are available beginning with the 1997-1998 academic calendar year. Data is available for download in Excel files for statistical analysis.
- This site provides access to enrollment data and trends based on student level, major, gender, race/ethnicity, residency, and age. This data is available in Tableau visualizations that users can customize to explore enrollment data. The 100 courses with the highest enrollments are also listed on an annual basis beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year.

Office of Registrar Data
- Conferred Degree ReportsA cumulative report provides a summary of degrees awarded by types and degree since the inaugural academic year in 1848. Beginning with 1985-1986 fiscal year, reports detail degrees by gender, degree level, diversity, school/college, major, and term.
- Enrollment ReportsEnrollment reports offer data that are broken down by gender, residency and major, college and program, student age distributions, high school percentiles, credits carried, student population geographic distributions, admissions type. Beginning in 1945, reports are available for fall, spring, and summer. Reports for Summer 1944 and Summer 1945 are also available.
- Grade and GPA ReportsBeginning in Fall 2014-2015, reports detail undergraduate grade-point averages by gender, school/college, academic level, and academic program.
Beginning in Fall 2013-2014, course grade-distribution reports offer figures on final grades for each course and section.
Division of Diversity, Equity, and Educational Achievement (DDEEA)
- Diversity ReportsDiversity reports detailing campus initiatives are available beginning with the Madison Plan of 1988 that was the first comprehensive diversity plan on campus. Additional annual reports include the Campus Climate Progress Report and Diversity Framework Strategic Action Plan.
- Diversity Framework HistoryThis resource contains information on the history of social change, campus diversity planning, and implementation results.
- Bias Reporting Incident LogsCampus incidents of bias are available in logs that record the date of incident, location, type, targeted identity, and action taken. The logs are updated bi-weekly and organized by semester.
Office of Data Management & Analytics Services
- Repository for Administrative Dashboards and Reports (RADAR)The RADAR portal is a searchable repository of reports and data for a variety of domains including student records, academic planning, budget, admissions, teaching and learning, and finance. The reports vary in format and include interactive data visualizations, analytical reports, and tabular reports. Many of the reports are publicly available, but some reports require access credentials.
