Genomics : Databases and Repositories

There are many databases and repositories containing information useful for genomics research. In addition to those listed in the Enzymes, Nuclei Acids, Organisms, Proteins, Small Molecules, and Gene Expression pages, the following sites provide additional links: 

Beyond the Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP) repository, NIH created a central repository model for data storage and distribution of genomics data.  With the increasing volume and complexity of this type of data, NIH is exploring structured partnerships with three external organizations ("trusted partners").

The NCI Center for Biomedical Informatics & Information Technology are three pilot tools developed to support co-location of data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) with computational resources.
