Tutorial Video- Requesting Articles from the Catalog

The tutorial video below will assist you with finding articles in UW-Madison's online library catalog.

Citation Search

Citation Search provides a concise lising of the electronic and print subscriptions available at the UW Madison libraries.  It includes direct links to journals in Hein Online and JSTOR -- two databases which provide pdf copies.

Hein Online Law Journal Library (PDF)

This is your go-to database for more than 1,500 law and law-related periodicals. Coverage is from the first issue published for all periodical holdings and goes through the most-currently published issues, based on embargoes with publishers. Search by article title, author, subject, state or country published, full text, and narrow by date.

JSTOR (PDF)

Selected scholarly journals in history, economics, political science, and other fields. Coverage begins with volume one of each title and ends about two to five years before the most recently published volume.

Tutorial Video- Requesting Articles via ILL

The tutorial video linked below will assist you with requesting articles via ILL, or inter-library loan. This is for instances in which the article is not readily available in print at UW-Madison or via one of the above online databases.
