One of our primary goals as a library is to make sure you feel welcome and able to find space that works best for you. One way we meet that goal is to offer library tours to incoming 1Ls during orientation where we give a quick review of the services and spaces we offer. This is an optional tour and orientation is a busy time, to put it mildly, so we understand that not everyone is able to attend these.

However, we are always happy to provide one-on-one tours or reviews for students. We hope that you will always feel comfortable asking us a question. The Reference staff encourages you to stop and say hello to us at the Reference Desk - you are never interrupting us! If that isn't how you'd like to ask a question, you can always do so via our email address (askuwlaw@law.wisc.edu), phone (262-3394), or chat. You can also anonymously give us suggestions via our suggestion box, physically located in the Copy Center or online here.

Basically, we want to help make the library less intimidating and more helpful. If you'd like us to do that with a tour or a discussion, that's great! Just let us know and we'll help.
