The Children's & Young Adult Literature and Resources guide is designed to assist students, faculty, researchers, and others interested in identifying and locating resources relevant to children's & young adult literature. Resources include physical items, online databases, and other resources available through the University of Wisconsin Libraries or the Information School Laboratory Library, as well as other resources available for free online.

- BadgerlinkAccording to its website, "BadgerLink is Wisconsin's Online Library, providing Wisconsin residents with licensed trustworthy resources from these current content providers. BadgerLink is a service provided by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and our resources and staff are paid for with Universal Service Funds appropriated through Wisconsin's biennial budget, and federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.The resources are designed to provide a foundational collection serving all Wisconsin residents, augmenting those available through K-12 schools, public libraries, public and private universities and technical colleges, medical and health-care facilities and practitioners, and state agencies."
- Cooperative Children's Book CenterAccording to its website, "The CCBC is a unique and vital gathering place for books, ideas, and expertise in the field of children’s and young adult literature. The CCBC is a noncirculating examination, study, and research library for Wisconsin school and public librarians, teachers, early childhood care providers, university students, and others interested in children’s and young adult literature. The CCBC is part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education, and receives additional support from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction."

- Wisconsin Child Care Information CenterThe Wisconsin Child Care Information Center (CCIC) is a mail-order lending library. It provides resources to professionals working in early childhood education, and its main goal is to provide resources that create a strong foundation for Wisconsin's children.
