- Resume and Cover Letter Critique Service"No appointment necessary! Just drop off your resume and/or cover letter at our office anytime during business hours (M-F, 8:00AM - 4:30PM). You can pick up your materials two business days later, and an advisor will have included written suggestions on format, content, and more."
- Graduate and Professional School"Consider making an appointment with one of our career advisors to discuss future graduate school plans. Every October our office holds a graduate school fair where you can interact with representatives from numerous graduate schools. We also offer Interfolio, an online reference letter center where you can request and send out letters of recommendation."
Professional Music Career Services
- College Music Society (CMS) Career ServicesThe CMS Career Services Committee offers its services to paying members of the organization. "At this time, the work of the Career Services Initiative is broadly defined and organized around four major topics:
* essential employment-seeking skills
* thriving in a music career
* working as an independent musician
* life in higher education (an area that we are calling 'academic citizenship')" - Polyphonic.org: The Orchestra Musician ForumA free online forum that advertises itself as a "career learning center." Educates musicians about the orchestra industry and how to develop an orchestral career. Contains articles, interviews, forums, discussion panels, blogs, and more!
