- American Indian StudiesThe American Indian Studies Program works to foster an environment in which the university community can discover, examine, and appreciate the cultures, traditions, and values that reflect the many contributions American Indians have made and continue to make to the quality of life in contemporary society.
- AIS Certificate ProgramA Certificate in American Indian Studies is a way of giving recognition to students who have made a significant effort to learn about American Indian culture and the place of American Indians in American society.
- Tribal RelationsAs part of the Office of University Relations, Tribal Relations focuses on building and nurturing relationships with tribal nations and communities, along with building relationships with the organizations and entities created by tribal nations and communities. As part of the Division of Extension (UWEX), Tribal Relations focuses on connecting tribal nations and tribal communities with university faculty, staff, and students for support, programming, and services.
- Our Shared FutureA concerted effort on campus to work closely with native nations and recognize tribal sovereignty across campus with markers.
- Enwejig Indigenous Languages AdvocatesA working group focused on honoring Indigenous knowledge systems through raising awareness of the importance of Indigenous languages among the UW-Madison community and beyond.
- Native American Center for Health ProfessionalsProgram working to to improve the health and wellness of American Indian people by supporting prospective students, current students, and health professionals.
- Great Lakes Indigenous Law CenterCenter in the Law School with the goal to improve the practical legal skills of all students interested in Federal Indian Law while providing a legal resource for Native Nations.
