How to Read a Call Number

Books in campus libraries are organized by subject. On the spine of the book are call numbers. You will need to know the call number to locate books in the library and on shelves.  This image shows how to read a call number to locate books on llibrary shelves. In Memorial Library, use the stack guide to find out where a book is shelved based on its call number.
