Who I Am - Scenarios USA

Two young women confront their sexuality at the crossroads of race and class. Who I Am addresses stereotypes, racism, and homophobia. The film, like all films from Scenarios USA was written by a teen (Whitney Peters) and directed and acted by professionals. It's outstanding. Watch it free online and download a lesson plan.  Also available for purchase.

Family Life and Sexual Health Curricula (F.L.A.S.H.) - Seattle & King County Health Services

These comprehensive sex education curricula include lesson plans for upper elementary school, middle school, high school, and special education.  Unit 7 of the high school curricula focuses specifically on LGBTQ Youth and covers definitions, myths and how to combat homophobia.

Identity/Expression Activity - Safe Schools Coalition

A brief group activity aimed at helping students develop empathy for people living in the closet. While the activity focuses on LGBTQ activities, it also touches on race, class, hobbies and other ways teens identify themselves
