About Covidence

Covidence is a systematic reviews production tool for title/abstract screening, full-text screening, data abstraction, and quality assessment. Covidence was designed by researchers familiar with the systematic review process in order to make conducting reviews more efficient. It is the primary screening and data extraction tool for Cochrane authors. 

 

Creating an Account

New Users--Do NOT create an account prior to contacting Ebling Library
To request a Covidence account, please send an email to Ebling's Systematic Review team. Please indicate in the body of the email your full name, your UW-Madison (@wisc.edu) or UW Health (@uwhealth.org) email address, and department/school. Please note that Covidence is only for systematic or scoping reviews. Class assignments are not allowed access at this time.  

If you have already created an account with Covidence, you will need to link your account with our institutional access in order to create unlimited free reviews.

Please send an email to Ebling's Systematic Review team and follow the instructions above for new users. Please note that if you did not sign up with your UW-Madison (@wisc.edu) or UW Health (@uwhealth.org)  email on your original account, you will not be able to link your account to our institutional access.
