User Eligibility Requirements
Due to license restrictions, access to Covidence is restricted to Ebling Library affiliated faculty and staff. These are:

• School of Medicine and Public Health
  • Includes Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant and Genetic Counseling
• School of Nursing
• School of Pharmacy
• Veterinary Medicine
• Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Kinesiology
  • Includes Athletic Training and Occupational Therapy
• UW Health

Please note that Covidence accounts are not available to students. Students can participate in reviews if they are invited by a team member with a Covidence account. For questions about Covidence access, please email the Systematic Review Team. 

New Users
To request access to Ebling Library's institutional license to Covidence, please send an email to Ebling's Systematic Review team and include the following information in the body of the your email: 

• Full Name
• UW-Madison (@wisc.edu) or UW Health (@uwhealth.org) email address
• Department or School Affiliation

Existing Users

• In Covidence, add your UW-Madison (wisc.edu) or UW Health (uwhealth.org) email address to your existing account (go to 'Profile' to do this).
• Make your UW-Madison or UW Health email your primary email address in Covidence.
• Send an email to Ebling's Systematic Review team and follow the instructions above for new users
• Accept the invitation in your email – check your spam folder if the invitation doesn’t arrive in a few minutes. Please also keep in mind that the link is one-time use and will expire in ~30 days.
• Log in to your existing Covidence account, which will automatically link you to Ebling Library's institutional license..
