The UW-Madison provides lab notebook (ELN) services for use by its faculty, researchers, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students in performing research activities. ELNs are a modern way to not only manage the results of research efforts, but also record and document research processes and procedures. Additionally, they are also useful to help in managing digital research data.
Research Data Services (RDS) is an interdisciplinary organization committed to advancing research data management practice on the UW-Madison campus, and focused on providing researchers with the tools and resources that support their efforts to store, analyze, and share data.
This resource is primarily a reference qualitative and quantitative research methods typically seen in the social sciences disciplines, but also used in certain areas of health, engineering, and science research that are not laboratory-based.
