UW Affiliated Groups

India Students Association (ISA) strives to promote and increase awareness of South Asian heritage and culture through education, community involvement, and providing a forum for social networking.

The Indian Graduate Students' Association (IGSA) UW-Madison's mission is to maintain ties with the Indian community in and around Madison.

School of Bhangra (SOB) promotes the North Indian traditional dance form of Bhangra, educates others of our culture, and has a positive impact on the lives and well-being of the UW-Madison community.

Wisconsin Groups

The Indian Music Circle of Wisconsin promotes Indian classical music and dance in Madison, by bringing established as well as upcoming artists to perform for the Madison audience.

The India Music Society (Milwaukee) is dedicated to bring quality music and dance art forms of India and promote cross- cultural appreciation and understanding.

Kalaanjali School of Dance & Music, while primarily focused on dance (specifically Bharatanatyam), also offers training in Indian Carnatic classical music, devotional bhajans and kirtans, and patriotic songs
