Free South Asian Resources for Educators : Visual Resources

The University of Wisconsin actively collects both documentaries and feature films from and about South Asia.  A listing of documentary titles available through interlibrary loan is available here.  All feature films are discoverable through the UW Libraries catalog, with some also highlighted in the South and Southeast Asian Video Archive.

Youtube is a tremendous resource for visual material from South Asia.

The Huntington Archive was created by and John C. and Susan L. Huntington is "devoted to providing pan-Asian documentation and resource materials for scholarly research and classroom."

Digital South Asia Library Images include multiple photographic archives, including those from the American Institute of Indian Studies in Gurgaon.

Tasveer Ghar is a "digital network of South Asian popular visual culture."
