Water Research Guide : Home

Books, journals, databases, and other resources on water, science and the Great Lakes.

Navigating this Guide

This guide was developed for use by UW-Madison faculty, staff, students, and visitors to assist in their pursuit of water research. Water is a cross-disciplinary subject, so the resources encompassed in the Water Research Guide span many fields and departments.

Prefer to research based on source type? Head to the Books, Journals, and Newsletters tab or the Databases for Scholarly Articles tab.

Prefer to research based on topic? Head to the Resources by Topic tab and explore by subtopic within aquatic sciences.

Find information about jobs, funding, and professional organizations related to water research under the Career Resources page, or visit the Resources for Guests page if you are a visitor from outside the UW System.
