Your course assignments may require you to use sources only available through the UW-Madison Libraries website. This guide will help you identify, access, and use these sources effectively.
The Library Research Component for Your Course
You will complete the Sift & Winnow online module, available through your Canvas course page. These lessons will prepare you for an in-library class session.
OR
You will complete the Sift & Winnow online module, followed by the Searching Library Databases module in your Canvas course.
Your instructor will tell you if your class will be coming to the library or completing the Searching Library Databases module instead.
