When looking at an article, property data is often displayed in a chart
Spectral data may not be displayed as a graph. You may need to skim paragraphs looking for peak values written out.
When the data is not the focus of the paper (used for characterization) it may be tucked away in Supplemental Information documents for that article
- Supplemental Information will be located on the publisher’s website, not in a library database. To get there quickly, Google the DOI or article title. The Supplemental Information (also called Supporting Information) will be linked somewhere on the page – usually at the bottom of the page or in a sidebar. Publishers make these documents freely available, usually as PDFs or DOC files.
