Developing a Research Topic
Based on your assignment description: "Choose any topic within the field of psychology that interests you. Your topic should be broad enough to have sufficient research available but focused enough to allow for an in-depth review of the literature."
Because psychology is a science, it is best to frame your research question in terms of variables. Other subjects may call them keywords or concepts. They are the same thing. You may want to consider two to three variables: There may be an independent variable that is the main area of interest, a dependent variable that has some type of impact or correlation with the independent variable, and environmental or demographic components such as a specific population.
