  • Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance is a government-wide compendium of Federal programs, projects, services, and activities that provide assistance or benefits to the American public. It contains financial and nonfinancial assistance programs administered by departments and establishments of the Federal government.
Search here for Federal Business Opportunities.
  • Federal Register
Published by the Office of the Federal Register, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), the Federal Register is the official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices (including funding opportunities!) of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other presidential documents.
Billed as the place to find and apply to government grants, this resource can be difficult to use in identifying what is available. Instead, visit individual agency web sites and/or use the resources below to find grants – then use to apply. This site also includes grant opportunities notices posted in the most recent seven days, links to grant application packages, resources such as proposal writing information.
  • US Small Business Administration
Includes information on government grants and loans to small businesses.
A free, searchable, and publicly accessible site mandated by the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (Transparency Act). Click on Spending to search/browse recipients according to type of funding (grants, loans, contracts, etc.).
  • COS Pivot
Browse by Sponsor to see current government opportunities. Great for grants outside of the sciences too! To save searches, tag and track records, create a logon (with your campus email address).
