Welcome to the Library Course Guide for History 306: The United States Since 1945

This guide includes information about how to

  • access historic and contemporary newspaper articles
  • search for and access secondary research (scholarly journals, blogs, books
  • successfully conduct academic research

Memorial Library and the Wisconsin Historical Society Library are the primary libraries for research in this class. While the libraries are closed, you can access many resources electronically - all resources suggested in this guide are available online. Additionally, you may request digitization of portions of physical items by clicking "place request" in the catalog record of the time.
