Books

You can create RSS feeds or e-mail alerts to notify you when new books on your topic are published. These alerts can often be created at individual publisher websites or through Books in Print.

To create a search alert for a particular topic through Books in Print, click on the link below and start by creating a search. In your results screen, click "RSS Feeds."

Note: In order to enable this feed in your RSS reader, you may need to remove the campus Libraries ezproxy address from the feed.

For instance, in this feed for a search on medicinal plants, the ezproxy string appears in bold text and can be removed:
www.booksinprint.com.ezproxy.library.wisc.edu/Search/rss?q%3dquicksearch-all%3d%5bmedicinal+plants%5d&op=14&app=bip

Instead, enter the following edited feed address into your feed reader:
www.booksinprint.com/Search/rss?q%3dquicksearch-all%3d[medicinal+plants]&op=14&app=bip
