How to Access Resources After Graduation
Once you are no longer a UW-Madison student you will lose access to UW-Madison licensed resources. However, there are many ways to access resources and research findings beyond subscription access! This page contains a variety of resources that may be helpful to you after graduation.
Find Open Access Research Articles with Unpaywall
The Unpaywall browser extension will help you locate free open access versions of articles. When you have found an article in your browser, the extension will search for a free version of the full text, such a preprint or the free article at the publisher's website. Unpaywall is particularly useful when you are searching sites like PubMed or Google Scholar that index both subscription and open access journals.
