Copyright for Educators and Librarians

"Fair Use," the case law-based doctrine added as Section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, is a focal point of interest and concern for those in education at all levels. This doctrine holds that the production and dissemination of works in the context of teaching, research and scholarship is not an infringement of copyright.
