Poster Printing & Design Lab

Ebling does not offer poster printing, but this is available several places on campus. Please refer to each page below for their specific requirements regarding size, price, payment, and file format.

The closest to Ebling is Media Solutions in SMPH.

The UW-Madison Design Lab offers free one-on-one design tutoring for UW-Madison students, faculty, and staff. Get help with all of your digital projects, including presentations, posters, videos, audio, websites/blogs, infographics, and more. DesignLab consultants can help with everything from conceptualizing the first steps to polishing a nearly finished project.

Study, Meeting, Presentation and Event Spaces

You can reserve space at Ebling Library for meetings, presentations, events, and studying, all of which can be reserved through HSLC's Room Reservations system (not through Ebling).

Physical books are located to the right. Room 3330 directly to the left. Historical services, ALC, study rooms, and Information Commons computers directly forward.

There are two (2) copy centers, one on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd floor. This is one of the printers requiring a GoPrint account. Printing is 7 cents a page. (NOTE: this is not a MedSchool Account printer)

There are Scannx BookScanners located in both copy centers, one on the 2nd floor HSLC, another on the 3rd floor. They are free to use. Choose from a variety of formats (pdf, jpg, tiff, and others) and either download scans onto USB stick or send them to your email.

Ebling Historical Services & Reading room

Conduct historical research or view the latest medical-based exhibition in the Historical Reading Room. This room is also a silent study space.

Just past the Historical Reading room, to the left, is SMPH's Interactive Learning Center

To leave the library from the 3rd floor, walk past the historical Reading Room (should be on your right side) toward the staircase facing North.
