Geographic context for "Coon Creek Watershed"

There aren't any government units, newspapers, or journals just for the Coon Creek watershed.  You'll have to search

  • The sites of government units that include parts of the Coon Creek watershed
  • Newspapers from cities and villages in or near the Coon Creek watershed

According to this 2011 description from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources,

  • "The Coon Creek Watershed [is] located in west central Vernon, southwest Monroe, and southern La Crosse counties..."
    • You may want to search the newspapers or city web sites of the county seats of the above counties:
  • "The southern tip of the City of La Crosse, the villages of Stoddard, Chaseburg, and Coon Valley, as well as a portion of the City of Westby are all within the Coon Creek Watershed."

The Coon Creek Watershed District is in MINNESOTA, not Wisconsin.
