Protocols and methods are published resources which describe laboratory or experimental procedures.  They are published in a variety of ways including as protocol-only journals or books, as occasional articles in journals, or more informally as papers available on the Internet. 

This guide is designed to assist UW-Madison researchers in locating the protocols they need from within the variety of available resources.
