Here are some useful websites for planning physical education lessons.

  • EdiPHY  
    Both Activities and Resources are accessible using the horizontal navigation bar, or the search box at the right of the screen (holding the Control Key down to allow multiple selections).
  • Educator's Reference Desk : Physical Education  
      
    Categories include: Games, Gymnastics, Motor Skills, Outdoor Education, and Team Sports.
  • PE Central : The Web Site for Health and Physical Education Teachers  
    Lesson plans for both physical education and health, plus assessment ideas, adapted physical education information, standards, and research sources.
  • PreK-12 @ UW-Madison (School of Education)  
    Developed by faculty, staff and students of the Kinesiology Department in the School of Education, this Web site contains a wide array of physical education activities and resources. More than just a list, the site offers resources that can help users.
  • Teaching Unit Plans  
    These online unit plans were created by PE majors and minors at Central Washington University. They vary in quality but all contain references that you can use to locate additional information.
