but they are not scholarly.
Finding Newpapers
- Center for Research Libraries (CRL)CRL acquires and preserves newspapers, journals, documents, archives, dissertations from outside of the U.S. and Canada, and other traditional and digital resources. Materials from CRL can be requested via InterLibrary Loan.
- Caribbean Newspaper Digital Library (CNDL)Provides access to digitized versions of Caribbean newspapers, gazettes, and other research materials on newsprint currently held in archives, libraries, and private collections.
- African Newspapers (1800s-1900s)A database of 40 searchable African newspapers covering the period from 1800 to 1922. Coverage is largely of English-language papers but a few in African languages are also included.
- allAfrica.com"AllAfrica is a voice of, by and about Africa - aggregating, producing and distributing 2000 news and information items daily from over 130 African news organizations and our own reporters to an African and global public."
