Wisconsin Historical Society Library's role

The Wisconsin Historical Society (WHS) Library is one of three State Level Depository Libraries for the Wisconsin Document Depository Program.

The WHS Library also responsible for the Wisconsin Document Classification System (Widocs), assigning Widocs call numbers to titles in the WDDP, and creating new Widoc numbers as needed.  Guide to Wisconsin State Agencies and Their Call Numbers
